We already have informed you ...! | અમે તો કીધું હતું...!

Corona ... Corona ... Corona ... and vaccine ... vaccine ... vaccine. Apart from these two, no third thing is heard in the whole world right now. And now, for the last few months, we have been hearing the RAAM-DHUN - Corona's vaccine 'coming... coming...'.

We don't usually know The Science of Vaccines. So for us, what we can trust on the news in the newspapers is the only true information. Many well-known companies around the world have been started making vaccines for a long time. Simultaneously, Each country Administration is also on foot to vaccinate its people. It is a good thing...!

I read a news in big letters in today's newspaper,.

"An SMS will be sent on the mobile informing when and where the vaccine is to be given." This news also contains information on the basic arrangements made by our system for vaccination. Again good thing...! But did you read that very small news was also printed in yesterday’s newspaper? It was... "Center warns of corona vaccine side effects".

Can’t we think it’s like rubbing salt on the wounds ?

We took the vaccine out of fear of corona, then what if there are any side effects? The system will break free by saying, " We already have informed you ...!” This is fear number one, I feel another fears too. There are standard storage conditions that are prescribed to preserve the corona vaccine. Do you think the rules will be followed strictly ? Third fear, do you think our (so-called) system will strictly follow the rules of hygiene, sanitation, etc.? And fear number four ... The conspiracy to sell duplicate injections in the name of Remdesivir injection is very recent and was very loud (We don’t know that happened then)... but, so now? Will it be the same for Corona's vaccine now ?

કોરોના... કોરોના... કોરોના... અને વેક્સિન... વેક્સિન... વેક્સિન. બસ, આના સિવાય અત્યારે કોઈ ત્રીજી વાત આખા જગતમાં સાંભળવા નથી મળતી. એમાં પણ છેલ્લા કેટલા’ક સમયથી તો કોરોનાની વેક્સિન ‘આવે છે... આવે છે...’ની રામધુન સાંભળતા આવ્યા છીએ.

વેક્સિનનું વિજ્ઞાન આપણે સામાન્ય રીતે જાણતા નથી હોતાં. એટલે આપણા માટે તો સમાચાર પત્રોમાં આવતા સમાચારોને જ સાચી માહિતી માનવાની. વિશ્વભરની અનેક નામી-અનામી કંપનીઓ છેલ્લા કેટલા સમયથી વેક્સિન બનાવવા મચી પડી છે. દરેક દેશનું તંત્ર પણ પોતાની જનતાને વેક્સિન આપવા એક પગે થઇ ગયું છે. સારી વાત છે.

આજના જ એક સમાચાર પત્રમાં મોટા અક્ષરે એક સમાચાર વાંચવા મળ્યા.

‘વેક્સિન ક્યારે અને ક્યાં મુકાવા જવાની છે તેનો મોબાઈલમાં SMS આવશે.’ એ સાથે આપણા તંત્રએ વેક્સિનેશનની જે પ્રાથમિક ગોઠવણ કરી છે તેની માહિતી પણ છે. પણ ગઈકાલે સમાચાર પત્રમાં બહુ નાનકડા સમાચાર પણ છપાયા હતા એ વાંચ્યા હતા ? તેમાં લખ્યું હતું કે ‘કેન્દ્રએ ચેતવણી આપી – કોરોના રસીની સાઈડ ઈફેક્ટ થઇ શકે’

બોલો, આમાં શું કરવાનું ?

કોરોનાના ભયથી આપણે વેક્સિન લીધી, પછી કાંઈ પણ સાઈડ ઈફેક્ટ થઇ તો ? તંત્ર એવું કહીને છૂટી જશે કે ‘અમે તો કીધું હતું...!’

આ તો થયો ભય નંબર એક, હવે મને બીજો ભય પણ લાગે છે. કોરોનાની વેક્સિનને સાચવવા માટે જે સ્ટાન્ડર્ડ સ્ટોરેજ કંડીશન સૂચવવામાં આવી છે એ નિયમોનું પાલન થશે ખરૂં ? ત્રીજો ભય, તમને લાગે છે આપણું (કહેવાતું) વ્યવસ્થા તંત્ર હાઈજીન, સેનિટાઇઝેશન વગેરેના નિયમોનું ચુસ્તપણે પાલન કરશે ? અને ભય નંબર ચાર... રેમેડીસિવર ઇન્જેક્શનના નામે ડુપ્લીકેટ ઇન્જેક્શન વેચવાનું ષડ્યંત્ર બહુ જ ગાજ્યુ હતું... તો હવે ? કોરોનાની વેક્સિનનો વારો આવશે ?
